The HoliDaze is in the process of networking together some of the best active travel blogs out there. Have you ever tried searching blogs for research on your upcoming trip? It is so hard to find active blogs that cover the area(s) you are going. We used to spend weeks doing its, wasting hours and hours... Then we realized, why not just create a central hub connecting travelers and travel blogs? Kind of a loose network of active travel blogs and expats.
And that is what we have done here! But we are still brand new, and as such always looking for guest writers. For more information on all the benefits, read below.
Do you have a travel blog or site already? Do you share our same love of traveling? Well then we would love your feedback here at the Daze! In return we will add your blog/site to our network and help drive up your traffic. And if you want to link back to us, well then that is just a win-win situation, thank you.
How does the process work? Easy as 1-2-3, and it only takes about two minutes:
- Simply register/login via Twitter, WordPress, Google, Yahoo, FourSquare, LinkedIn, or others, and post at least one article in any section(s) of your choosing. If you really want to make things simple, just copy and paste one of your favorite or most interesting blog entries -- or more if you'd like, we won't stop you. Each post will link back to your blog and social networking accounts, so just consider them free publicity, the more the merrier!
- After you have posted your first article, you can publish a link to your blog or travel site by clicking here. Make sure to select 'Travel Blogs' as the category, so that it will get promoted on the right section of the Daze. If you would like a new category added then just give us a shout. Your site will be published instantly under Our Friends' Travel Blogs, but may take an hour or two to get verified. No commercial or corporate sites are allowed, thanks for understanding!
- If you would like to have your articles and contact profile link to your Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, Flickr, or any other social networking accounts, simply contact us and provide us with the info and we will handle the rest. FYI: We do limit the number of social links per person to five.
Sounds simple, right? You'll be helping inspire and educate other travelers as well as increasing traffic to your own site. Win-win. And after all, what have you got to lose?

But what if writing is not your thing? No worries, you are always welcome to post pictures or videos instead of an article.
► For Pictures, just upload them to our Photo Galleries and title it appropriately -- and categorize them as mature if the pictures are too wild. We'll trust your judgement -- unless we start seeing any issues.
► For Videos, visit the HoliDaze Video Gallery and login with any of your social accounts (WordPress, Twitter, Yahoo, Google, LinkedIn, etc). Once logged in the WordPress bar will appear at the top of your page and from there you can easily post a new submission and edit your profile. Oh and just like with all HoliDaze article submissions, each of your posts will link back to your blog and social sites.
