Hong Kong

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is an Asian New York City. A modern metropolitan mix of Cantonese, Mandarin and English languages, signs and street names, the city has become a melting pot of people from around the world. A dozen or more different languages can be heard even on a short walk through Kowloon. Although it may “technically” be a part of China, there is nothing here like the mainland.

UPDATE: Okay, since the recent government takeover, Hong Kong is becoming more like China now 😬
