A collection of solo travel guides, tips, stories and adventures compiled during the last decade of my life….with more to come. I prefer traveling alone and am still doing it to this day, even as I type this. Why? Because it is so much harder to make local friends and experience the real authentic culture if you are walking around with other foreigners, compared to if you are walking around by yourself. Sure, the occasional romantic getaway is great, but most of the time stumbling around clueless by yourself is the best way to dive headfirst into a new country. (At least for me.)
