North America

North America

Despite what I was taught at school as a kid in Texas, North America is not just Canada, Mexico and the United States of America. The area sometimes referred to as Central America — from Belize and Guatemala all the way down to Costa Rica and Panama — is technically all part of the North American continental plate. So are Greenland and the Caribbean.

Yup, it seems that we Americans don’t just have our own measurement system and unique definition of football, we also have our own continental structure. Woo-hoo? 😅
