Offbeat Travel Guides

Find Your Offbeat Odyssey.

HoliDaze offbeat travel guides to all that is quirky, unique and off the beaten path.

Should travel ever start to get a little boring, simply get off the beaten path. Travel different. Instead of doing routine touristy things, seek out the overlooked sights and activities.

Offbeat Travel Rule #1: No Map Required

Traveling offbeat is about discovering the strange, unique, and off the beaten path sights/activities/foods that make a particular destination different from everywhere else in the world. It’s about traveling differently. Trust locals instead of TripAdvisor. Embrace “going with the flow.” And most important of all, be open to new things that are outside of your comfort zone.

Sometimes offbeat travel includes being blindfolded by a local. To our surprise Riyanni and I were led to a mystery destination.

Wherever I may roam, I am constantly searching for the places that are missed by most other travelers. From weird museums to hidden hot-spots to the just plain one-of-a-kind — the more unique the better.

Now I’m encouraging you to get off the beaten path as well. Below you’ll find some of the interesting places I’ve discovered over the last decade plus. That should be more than enough to get you started 😉

Travel Different. Travel Offbeat.
